WhatsApp Messaging

Version 01 · Effective 18 September 2026 · Last updated 18 September 2026

Faff runs on WhatsApp — it is how you give us tasks, and how we come back to you. By accepting this, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages from Faff on the mobile number registered to your account.

Messages You Will Receive

We will not use your WhatsApp number for anything else, and we will never share it with a third party for their own marketing.

Message Frequency

Task updates and payment messages are sent as and when they happen, so how many you get depends entirely on how much you use the Services — an active task can mean several messages within an hour. Offers and referral messages are occasional, and we keep them to a few a month.

Opting Out

Reply STOP on WhatsApp at any time to stop offers and referral messages. Reply START to begin receiving them again. This does not affect your account, your subscription or any task we are running for you.

Task updates and payment messages are how the Services work — we cannot run a task, or take your money, without telling you about it — so these continue for as long as your account is active. They end when your subscription ends, which you can cancel at any time through $manage or by writing to us.

You can also block or report the number in WhatsApp, which stops every message from us immediately.

Getting Help

Reply HELP on WhatsApp, or email us at anirudh@usefaff.com.

Delivery & Charges

Faff does not charge you for WhatsApp messages. WhatsApp carries them over your internet connection, so your mobile or broadband provider’s data charges may apply. Messages can be delayed or fail to arrive for reasons outside our control — your device being offline, your network, or WhatsApp itself — and neither Faff nor your provider is liable for a delayed or undelivered message.

Your Data

How we handle your number and the contents of your messages is set out in our Privacy Policy, which also explains how to withdraw your consent and how to ask for your data to be deleted. Your use of the Services is governed by our Terms of Use.
